Why Massage Your Pets?

Massage for animals promotes relaxation, reduces stress, alleviates muscle soreness and stiffness, helps release toxins from the body, aids in greater mobility and ease of movement, and is an all-around pleasurable experience for your pet.

My clients range from younger animals who just want to feel more relaxed and rejuvenated, to elderly pets with hip dysplasia, arthritis, and sore muscles and joints. People have often noticed better agility in the limbs, hips, and shoulders of their animal companions, and a marked increase in relaxation and calmness, immediately after a massage.

About Me

I received my certification in small animal massage therapy from the Ojai School of Massage, Ojai, California, in April 2008. I am also certified in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage for humans. I have been a pet sitter and dog walker, and have volunteered for various animal rescue organizations. I am based in Santa Cruz, California.

Massage does not take the place of proper veterinary care from a doctor of veterinary medicine, but can be used to complement other healing modalities such as chiropractic and acupuncture.

Your animal companion deserves to be pampered! For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact me at or (831) 331-6592.

"Patti Sirens Pet Massage has been a great find in my dog's life; if it is possible for a dog to smile then that is the contented look on his face when Patti handles him. Her knowlegable fingers can find sensitive areas that need special attention. I recommended her very highly."

"Lucy... was much happier! She was not as depressed in the hospital and wagged her tail and wanted to talk with me every time I walked by! I really think it did her a world of good. Gem was a different dog. She slept some but was very calm when she was awake and just seemed more settled."
- Dr. Evelyn Sharp, D.V.M., (and Lucy and Gem)
